Dear Families and Staff,
We learned today that one of the middle school students that was in quarantine has now tested positive for COVID-19 and has been placed in isolation. After learning the news, we conducted contact tracing and notified an additional twelve individuals that were identified as a close contact of the student. We currently have thirty-two elementary school students, thirty-six middle school students, seven high school students, five elementary school staff, one middle school staff, and one high school staff currently in quarantine. We have one elementary and two middle school students that are in isolation due to a positive COVID-19 test.
Sincerely,
Jimmy R. Haynes Ed. S. Superintendent of Schools
