Hello Parents/Guardians, We are going to start after-school tutoring next week. Mrs. Tyree & Mrs. McCord are going to be the tutors on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-4:15 PM in Mrs. Tyree's room. We are excited to announce Club Comet!! Club Comet is an after-school program available to all Alexander Elementary and Commerce Middle School students. CC offers nutritious after-school meals/snacks, homework help, fun academics, and many enriching activities and clubs. We will be beginning on Wednesday, October 9. If you would like your child to attend, applications must be turned in. You may request an application from your child’s teacher or at the office. If you have any questions about the program, contact the director at the number listed below. Hours: 3:20—5:30 pm.

OSTP (Oklahoma School Testing Program) spring 2019 test results are being sent out today. If your child needs remediation, the information is coming in the mail. If your child scored well on the state tests, those reports will be brought home by your child today. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to call or come by. Thank you.

Commerce's Powerschool Parent and Student Access has been enabled for all of our schools. Parents - if you need your account login information please contact your students school during normal school hours.

A fiber cut in North Miami last night has left all of our schools without phone or internet today. Crews are dispatched but it will take a few hours to make the needed repairs.

Commerce Football 2019 Is Upon Us!!!! Here is our upcoming schedule- August 12th @ 3:30-5 6-12th grade combine. August 12th @ 7:15 6-12th grade football parent meeting at the high school gym. August 12th @ 8:00 High school football players meeting in locker room. August 13th @ 3:30 high school practice helmets only. August 14th is the first day of school and we'll start normal 7th hour practices that day. Middle school (6th-8th grade) will start practice when school begins. All parents please attend the parent meeting on the 12th. We scheduled it right after open houses for your convenience.

Vaccination Reminder...incoming 7th graders must have Adult T-Dap before 1st day of school (state law). Thank you.

Commerce 6-12th grade athletic drug testing is tomorrow, August 1st. Girls 10-1130 and Boys 1130-1. Cost is $10. Parents must have familyid.com registration complete.

Question: If I have my own chromebook can I bring it to school and use it instead of renting one of the schools? Answer: Yes, but you have to allow the school to install GoGuardian for content filtering. GoGuardian filters internet at school and at home both.

Early Chromebook Checkout will be August 6th & 7th from 9-12 and 1-3 each day. CMS and CHS both will have early checkout those days. FamilyID registration must be completed and your $25 must be paid to the office before you can receive your chromebook.

Drug Testing - August 1st Girls 10-1130 and Boys 1130-1. If you're drug testing you must have your enrollment in FamilyID completed before testing. School and Athletic registrations both must be complete!
